Be a part of shaping the future of education at Educators Rising’s premier national event! The Educators Rising 2026 National Conference, themed “Teach with Purpose, Lead with Passion,” will bring together over 3,800 rising educators, teacher leaders, and professional educators from across the country.

This is your chance to present innovative ideas, share transformative teaching techniques, and inspire the next generation of educators. Our attendees range from middle school, high school, and college students exploring careers in education, to professional educators working to strengthen and diversify the teaching workforce. Your session can leave a lasting impact on those shaping the future of education.

What kind of sessions and topics is Educators Rising looking for?

We are looking for dynamic and interactive session proposals in the following formats:

  • Breakout Sessions (45 minutes): Engage attendees with an interactive, topic-driven presentation.
  • Workshops (45 minutes): Provide hands-on, skill-building experiences for participants.
  • Panel Discussions (45 minutes): Share diverse perspectives from a group of panelists on a specific topic.

Your session should contribute to the growth and success of our two key audiences:

  1. Rising Educators: Middle, high school, and college students aspiring to careers in education.
  2. Professional Educators: Teacher leaders, mentors, and those involved in educator preparation or working to address the teacher shortage and making sure that our teachers represent values-based and demographic role models for our students.

Key session strands include:

  • Student: Leadership Training: Equip students with essential leadership skills for schools, districts, and beyond. Topics may include public speaking, critical thinking, student advocacy, and building a personal brand.
  • Student: College Prep & Success: Help students navigate the challenges of applying to college and succeeding once there. Topics may include financial planning (FAFSA), admissions, essay writing, and college life adjustment.
  • Student: Classroom Tools, Tips, and Innovation: Share practical strategies for landing that first teaching job, maintaining work-life balance, and innovative classroom techniques. Topics may include resume writing, networking, classroom management, and manage their finances to survive on a teacher’s salary, and thrive in the early years of teaching.
  • Collegiate Student Strand: Help future educators strengthen their professional skills and personal growth as they prepare for success in the classroom and beyond. Topics may include mentoring, advocacy, collaboration, classroom management, lesson planning, studying and teaching abroad, and professional advancement.
  • Adult: Professional Development: Support educators, community leaders, and retirees continue their professional growth. Topics may include project-based teaching, advocating for the profession, how to grow EdRising chapters, secure program funding, and prepare students for competitive opportunities.
