Bossier Parish & EdRising Podcast
Posted on September 2, 2025

Regina Digilormo was recognized this summer as a PDK Emerging Leader Fellow and is joined by host Dr. Tracey Burrell, in a recent RedRiver Radio production which can be heard online. They discuss their experience attending the 2025 Educators Rising National Conference and how Educators Rising provides them support for an education career pathway program in their parish in Louisiana. “This is about preparing future teachers before they ever get a classroom of their own,” she shares, as part of the interview. “They’re preparing to be excellent [teachers].”

Digilormo is joined in the production by two students who participate in the Educators Rising program in their district and competed this year. The insights from Bossier Parish students are both authentic and inspiring.

She also discusses the benefits of PDK membership, and how PDK has empowered her to seek doctoral studies via a scholarship opportunity.
