Our conference theme is “Serving Our Community,” and Educators Rising is supporting the conference host community of Orlando and giving our attendees a chance to serve.

We have formed a partnership with the nonprofit organization A Gift for Teaching (AGFT) for our national service project. AGFT is Central Florida’s primary provider of free school supplies to teachers for their students who need them most. Serving high-need public schools in Orange and Osceola counties, AGFT envisions a future where every student has the tools and experiences to succeed.

We have asked attendees to bring school supplies from our Top 5 Essentials list:

• Dry erase markers
• Washable markers (8- or 10-count)
• Notebooks (composition or spiral)
• Colored pencils (12-count)
• Loose-leaf paper

During the conference, you can help us get the donations ready for AGFT. We need your assistance to collect, sort, and count the supplies. Make a difference by dropping by Coral C on Friday, June 30, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Saturday, July1, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
