The votes are in: The theme for the 2026 national conference in Portland, Oregon, is “Teach with purpose, lead with passion.”

Educators Rising held its third annual student delegate meeting on Saturday at its annual conference in Orlando. Student delegates weighed in on several matters of importance to the future of the organization.

Participants had the opportunity to share their views on the various items on the agenda, and then they took a vote. The 2025 national student officers presided over the meeting, reading each action items aloud and addressing the delegates who lined up to comment on each of the items, and calling for the votes.

Students voted to approve “teach with purpose, lead with passion” as the conference theme for 2026. The service project for the 2026 conference in Portland, Oregon, will be collecting toiletries for those in need.
