Meet the new national student officers

At the awards ceremony Sunday at the Educators Rising national conference, the 2024-25 national officers introduced the 2025-26 officers. The new officers have been hard at work during the conference, learning what they need to know to fulfill their duties for the upcoming year.

The new officers are:

President: Alliana Walters, Spanish Fork High School, Utah
Vice President of Service: Faith Gonder, Perry High School, Ohio
Vice President of Communications: Owen Elsasser, Ralston High School, Nebraska
Vice President of Engagement: Haylie Johnson, Waterbury Career Academy, Connecticut

Congratulations to the new student leaders. And thank you to Journey Harris, Char’Tayvious Edwards, Shae’Aunna Johnson, and Lexie Lieb for their leadership and service in 2024-25.
