The most direct way to get from Portland International Airport (PDX) to the Oregon Convention Center and the Convention Center area hotels is via the MAX Red Line Light Rail, taking about 40 minutes. Trains run every 15 minutes, costing $2.80, with a station right at the convention center.

This year marks an exciting milestone—Educators Rising’s first-ever conference in a convention center! Due to our continued growth, we’ll gather at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.

To ensure affordable and convenient accommodations, we’ve partnered with several local hotels near the convention center. All but one are located along Portland’s reliable MAX Light Rail system, and each attendee who stays at one of the contracted hotels will receive a complimentary transit card for easy travel to and from the convention center and other attractions during the entire conference.

Hotel Room Block Conference Discount

While Portland offers many independent lodging options, we strongly encourage all attendees to book within our official conference hotel blocks. Your reservations directly support the event—our discounted rate at the Oregon Convention Center depends on meeting these room block commitments.

To ensure that our room blocks are filled, a $150 housing surcharge per attendee will apply to anyone not staying in one of the official conference hotel room blocks.
