Keep learning with Kappan
Posted on June 26, 2025

Look for copies of our long-running magazine for educators: Kappan. The magazine is published by PDK International, the parent organization for Educators Rising. Since 1916, Kappan (also known as Phi Delta Kappan) has shared important education research, debates about education policy, and ideas for improving teaching practice. You can read a limited number of articles for free each month at kappanonline.org.

How can you use Kappan in your chapter or class? PDK offers two resources for Educators Rising members. Log in through the member portal to access:

  1. A discussion guide connected to each issue of Kappan.
  2. A student edition of each issue, available on the student resources page.

On Saturday at 11 a.m. in Gatlin A3, Kappan Editor-in-Chief Kathleen Vail will present a session on how to get published in the magazine.
