We’re so excited to bring NASDTEC’s Executive Director Jimmy Adams together with researcher Dr. Troy Hutchings and Dr. Anne Marie Fenton who serves as a facilitator for the National Council for the Advancement of Educator Ethics to a webinar for school leaders and teachers interested in developing future educators on November 17, 2026, beginning at 4 PM ET.
Dr. Fenton has consulted with Educators Rising for several years now to help us develop our Ethical Dilemma competitive event for the Educators Rising National Conference. Dr. Hutchings will join Dr. Fenton to discuss how preventative measures can benefit practicing teachers, how NASDTEC’s ethics work has resulted in the creation of training resources, not to mention NASDTEC’s clearinghouse database.
Attendees will be able to take advantage of available tools to use with practicing teachers and gain awareness of how to approach the discussion of educator ethics with Educators Rising students. This will not be a theoretical presentation, but instead highlight real research studies into the import of educator ethics and the positive benefits of prevention. We will reserve time for a Q/A session within the hour-long event.
This webinar will be hosted by Educators Rising’s own Dr. John Hendron. Those who register will get a recording of this session.
