Conference Onsite Testing Scholarship + Free Future Educator Assessments

The information shared below was sent recently to both students and teacher leaders who already registered for this year’s 2026 Educators Rising National Conference in Portland. It repeats previously disseminated information alongside updates about ETS’ August-launching assessments and a PDK Scholarship opportunity to cover the cost of one of the ETS tests being administered at the conference. Please note there is a deadline to sign-up to take the tests described below by May 29, 2026 at 5 PM ET.

Assessment Options at This Summer’s Conference

Students attending this year’s Educators Rising National Conference in Portland will have the opportunity to take up to three assessments from ETS:

  • ParaPro ($55)
  • Praxis® Core Math ($77)
  • Praxis® Core Reading ($77)

Students who register for and take a Praxis® or ParaPro assessment onsite at the Educators Rising National Conference will receive free early-access vouchers to two new assessments launching in August:

  • Praxis Personal Skills & Qualities (PSQ)
  • Durable Skills Assessment (Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking)

Why Test at the National Conference?

Testing at conference is convenient with an opportunity to take these assessments at a discounted rate. Check the requirements in your state, but by passing the ParaPro, you may be eligible for employment as a paraprofessional in your district after graduation. Additionally, passing the Praxis Core Math or Praxis Core Reading may be the first step in becoming certified as a teacher in your state.

We’ve Got Another Reason to Test This Summer

PDK International is setting aside a limited number of scholarships for students who participate in programs that utilize an active Educators Rising Curriculum subscription to take one of the three ETS tests at no cost.

That’s right! This scholarship offer is at a first-come, first-serve basis. Sign up now to register to take one or more of these tests by 5 PM ET on 29 May 2026 and we’ll confirm with you that you can take the test and whether you’re eligible for our PDK scholarship opportunity.
