Community service book drive

Educators Rising is partnering with Martha’s Table, a Washington, D.C., children’s education, nutrition, and emotional wellness support organization, to host a book drive at the conference.

Members are bringing early childhood books written by authors from underrepresented populations to the conference to donate. Books will be collected onsite and then sorted and counted by student attendees.

Each student who helps with the project can sign in and receive a certificate after the conference to prove community service hours. Students and other conference attendees are free to attend.

The activity will be held in Dogwood during these hours:

Friday, 1–7 p.m.
Saturday, 8 a.m.–7 p.m.
Sunday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
