The Educators Rising lip sync battle is the party of the year! This year, 18 individuals and teams showed off their steps on Friday night to 90 seconds of their favorite songs. It’s a highlight of the conference that some competitors practice for all year, while some gather up a team of friends when they arrive at the conference.
The winners were:
- Most Dramatic Performance: Madison Robinson, performing to “Cardigan” by Taylor Swift.
- Funniest Performance: Sydnie Fonoti and Rosie Songer, performing to “Man or Muppet” by Jason Segal.
- Crowd Favorite and Best Dance Moves: Aisha Saeed, Ubah Ali, and Hodo Ali, performing to “Ddu du ddu du” by Blackpink.
- Best Overall: Mashona Davis, Jennifer Beacom, Angelina Lopez, Cindy Rocha, María Cruz-Leyva, Azlin Fuentes, and Jaide Hernandez, performing to “Take a Hint” by Victorious.
After the battle, the fun continued with karaoke on the main stage, a new conference tradition!
