How to Register for the 2026 Educators Rising National Conference as a Competitor

For those not competing, register as a non-competitor

  1. Students may only compete in one event.
  2. Schools may enter up to two entries per school in each individual or dual event per division and only one team entry in each team event per division.

All competion rubrics are available on the National Competitions page on your Member Portal.

Competitions

Following the steps below will ensure that students can compete.

  1. Register for your competition by April 6, 2026. The deadline has now passed, but those who are registered can still register for the conference.
  2. Register to attend the 2026 Educators Rising National Conference or have your teacher leader register you (teacher leaders can only register a student once they have applied for their competition).
  3. Competition schedules will be posted in the EdRising Membership Portal on or around May 18, 2026. Unfortunately, due to the number of competitors, we cannot take requests for dates or times to compete.

Erin Young Voice Empowerment Award

for adult Educators Rising members

The Erin Young Voice Award recognizes an adult in the Educators Rising network who demonstrates an exceptional ability to empower students and elevate their voices. Erin Young, who passed away in 2015, was the founding Chief Content Strategist of Educators Rising. Her legacy of helping young people discover their voices and share their passion for teaching lives on.

Any member of the Educators Rising network may nominate any adult who is officially affiliated with Educators Rising. This includes:

  • Teacher leaders
  • Administrators
  • State / regional coordinators

The award will be presented at the Educators Rising National Conference 2026. Attendance at the conference is preferred but not mandatory.
