Why Educators Rising
Grow Your Own Strategy

Research suggests a shortage of 112,000 teachers for the 2020-21 school year. These shortages are particularly concerning for teachers of color.
Curriculum and Programming
As a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO), Educators Rising offers resources and opportunities that integrate directly into the academic programs of teacher career and technical education courses.
- Educators Rising Curriculum: Focuses on three key areas: curriculum, clinical experiences, and implementation support for establishing and growing the curriculum.
- Micro-Credentials: Performance-based assessments that allow rising educators to showcase their growing skills.
Competition and Recognition
As students develop teaching skills, they deserve recognition for their growth. Educators Rising offers:
- National Conference: An action-packed event filled with networking, learning, competing, and celebrating.
- National Competitions: Performance-based competitive events to stretch students’ creativity, commitment, and professionalism.
