Initiatives considered for points toward status include:

    • Having an Educators Rising Collegiate and/or Aspiring chapter
    • Maintaining a curriculum supportive of a diverse teacher background – including culturally responsive teaching and anti-bias instruction
    • Providing recognition for students through the Pi Lambda Theta program
    • Offering scholarships specific to Educators Rising members
    • Providing dual-credit or dual-enrollment for Educators Rising student members
    • Offering guaranteed acceptance, preferential indexing, or preferred interview for Educators Rising student members
    • Partnering with local school districts to provide support to Educators Rising middle or high school chapters
    • Supporting the Educators Rising National Conference or your state’s Educators Rising state conference through being a sponsor or exhibitor
